Well, summer is here and it’s officially HOT!  What better way to cool off than to eat a Popsicle Ice Pop?  This summer the Original Popsicle brand has come out with something new and exciting!  That is Jolly Rancher Popsicles!  Yes, everyone’s favorite popsicle is now flavored like our favorite fruit-flavored Jolly Rancher candy!  Not to mention, it looks really cool!  I received coupons to try the popsicles for free to review and am impressed.  I thought the popsicles looked so interesting that I needed to share some pictures, so…

The above picture shows what a popsicle looks like when you take it out of the box!  I think all of the colors are very  pretty!  Also, it has the usual Popsicle joke on the stick, as you can see.  Now, when you start eating the popsicle you realize how different it really is.  The first layer on this one is Blue Raspberry.  Then, the 2nd layer is Cherry, followed by Grape and lastly Green Apple!  You get 4 flavors in one.  The popsicle actually looks really pretty at this point:

Can you see all of the colors on the inside of it?  That’s right, somehow Popsicle managed to wrap all of the flavors in it!  I don’t know how they did it, but it looks and tastes pretty cool!  ; )  This Popsicle corresponds with the Anything’s Possible with Popsicle Promotion that is going on right now.  There is a contest where you can win a family trip to dig for dinosaurs, swim with dolphins, or go to Space Camp.  You could also win a National Geographic Kids Big Book of Fun from Popsicle!  I was lucky enough to also receive a copy of the awesome book (pictured here)!

Yes, it is an activity book.  However, it is NOT your typical children’s book.  It is actually a VERY interesting book.  I had my copy laying on my couch in the living room one day when my boyfriend was here.  I was actually on the laptop (perhaps blogging or emailing about the blog lol) and wasn’t paying much attention to what he was doing.  I assumed he was watching tv because it was on.  However, I happened to look over and he was looking at the book!  I kid you not!  This activity book was intriguing to my 20-something boyfriend!  Haha!  I put the laptop aside and started looking at the book with him.  I liked the page that had road signs on it and you had to guess which sings were fake!  There was also a page with tourist attractions and you are supposed to find the one that is not real.  There is even a page with various pricey objects with a price tag.  You are to figure out if that price is too high, too low, or correct.  It is fun!  The book has also mazes, fill in the blanks, and find what is wrong pictures.  My boyfriend really liked this “Eye Magic” page.  Haha!  I’ll let you discover for yourself what that page is all about!  The point is, if this colorful book can entertain 2 20-somethings for a while, just imagine how much fun it could be for a child (or yourself). 

I am really impressed with this little Summer kit from Popsicle.  There’s something to cool off with and something to get rid of the boredom of Summer!  This would be perfect for a little road trip or at home!
