Design Your Dorm and Organize.com Giveaway
Wow! It’s the last Back to School Blog Hop Bash individual post at Laughing Lindsay! Where did the summer go? Luckily, I’m happy to introduce my lovely readers to a wonderful new website that allows you to create a 3-D interior design of your dorm room! How awesome is that? Design Your Dorm lets college students pick their college and dorm to get the right size of their room! If your college or dorm room isn’t listed they also have standard rooms you can design as well!
When designing your dorm room, you can actually add items to the room. You can see what a rug will look like in your room! You can also find out if there is enough room for your drawer cart! Not only that, but you can really purchase stuff from the site and have it sent to you! Right now, Design Your Dorm has a partnership with the great dorm organization site, Organize.com! So, that means there are tons of options of various supplies you can buy!
As an added extra, the site even features cool rooms that are designed for you to go by! For instance, I really like this Pretty & Pink room!

One of the unique gifts on the site that is from Organize.com is the Shemergency Survival Kit! I actually received this kit for my review! I must say I was really impressed with this fun and interesting item! It contains so much the average college girl needs! For instance, I LOVE that it includes earring backs and hair spray! Plus, it all comes in a super handy silver mesh case! When I received this my mom couldn’t believe how much stuff was in it! When my mom read the contents, she actually questioned if it was all in there! Haha! This is definitely a must-get for any college student.

According to my oldest granddaughter (now a senior in college), her mattress topper was one of the most important things she took to school. Her sister will be heading off next year and is starting to gather her own dorm needs. If I won, I’d get her a Gel Filled Mattress Pad.
