Back to School Quotes
![]()
Wow! I can’t believe that so much time has passed since my last post of Summer Quotes! Since I just did the back to school blog hop bash and bombarded you with some great companies and products, I thought it was time for some lovely quotes. Today’s theme is back to school because almost everyone is back in school, now and summer is over. So, here are some good ones I found.
Being an education major, I had to share these two:
“There are three good reasons to be a teacher – June, July, and August.” ~ Author Unknown
“Schoolteachers are not fully appreciated by parents until it rains all day Saturday.” ~ E. C. McKenzie
These quotes are for all of us:
“Whoever ceases to be a student has never been a student.” ~ George Iles
“We don’t stop going to school when we graduate.” ~ Carol Burnett
So, what do you think? Do you have a favorite back to school/end of summer quote?
Also, do you have any themes/topics you would like me to do a quote post on?

“Schoolteachers are not fully appreciated by parents until it rains all day Saturday.” ~ E. C. McKenzie

You found 4 excellent ones. Good luck in your educational endeavors!
I love that E.C. McKenzie quote, I had never seen it before. Thanks.
Haha… good reasons to be a teacher are summer months. I love summer, but I also love my kiddos
I love quotes! I’m a 2nd grade teacher, and fully agree with the quote about parents appreciating teachers on rainy days…snow days too!
I really like this quote:
“Whoever ceases to be a student has never been a student.” ~ George Iles
I am just starting my Masters program in teaching and while it may seem to some that I have been a student “forever,” the ones saying that have never been to school. I do like learning and don’t know what it’s like NOT to be in school!
I love these! I’m always looking for new quotes
I like the second one.
Haha…my Dad teaches at a high school…that that first quote is pretty good.
