
With the holidays upon us, I’m gearing up for some heavy eating. Haha! I admit it, I pig out, especially around the holidays. In all seriousness though, I’ve gained more weight in college than I’d care to realize. Part of the reason is because I hate to exercise. I mean I don’t enjoy running or walking at all. Plus, I injured my ankle years ago and sometimes it gives me trouble. Not to mention, I barely have time to blog and homework, muchless workout. So, I was excited to receive a couple of work dvds to review. The first one I chose to receive was Dance and Be Fit Carnaval Workout. I picked this one because I LOVE to dance around and have fun. I’m not a good dancer, but I enjoy my version of it! Haha! I figured if it was dancing, then I might be able to tough it out.
I’ve managed to fit this dvd into my hectic schedule once so far. I wish I could have done it more times, but I can’t find the time. I can say that I actually really enjoyed the workout. It worked my arms more than I thought it would. I mean I could feel the burn just a little ways into the workout. However, my arms got used to be used again quickly ; ) and they felt fine. This workout is actually pretty fun. The music is enjoyable and exciting. Plus, the girl dancing, Kimberly Miguel Mullen walks you through the workout step-by-step. This dvd is definitely at the top of my workout dvd list – and that’s saying something!
Also, I thought it was great how the workout is split up -
Warm It Up 5 min.
Wind It Up! 12 min.
Step It Up! 12 min.
Jump Up! 13 min.
Cool It Down 5 min.

I would like to win this because I want to lose weight, and I like moving, but other forms of exercise get boring and I just don’t feel motivated to continue them. Dancing however, I will be motivated to do!
