Cool History Music Video Spoof
Being an Interdisciplinary Social Studies major, I love when I see something related to history that is cool and fun. Recently I found this video and I love it! It’s about America’s fight for independence to the tune of “Too Late to Apologize”. So, obviously, I had to share it with my lovely readers.
So, what did you think of the video? Do you think it’s neat when people makes parodies of songs and make them educational? What is your favorite song parody?

I love the song and the music. I am not sure what I think about the video.
I loved it! Thanks for sharing that. I think it’s great to appeal to young people with history. It’s also why I liked the movie Kings Speech. Education can be entertaining.
Interesting with a small touch of amusing. Love the violin playing. I agree with Kelly education can be entertaining!

This was educational for me since I’m not familiar with American history (I’m in Canada). My favourite parody is the Amish Paradise by Weird Al or his version of Beat it by Michael Jackson- his is Eat It LOL!

So creative! A wonderful way to use history as a backdrop for modern music. I have to find out who the band is now.

=) One of my friends showed me that video … the colonial period is one of my favorites from U.S. history (most likely from “American Girl” books), so I know that history can be fun and educational at the same time.
Please keep me on your list.
