My oh my! I have some fantastic news to share with you lovely readers! I’m so excited about all of it that I even created the cute title for this post.

So, let’s cover the Lines and Blinds parts. You may have noticed 2 additional buttons on my blogging memberships page. Well, this is what they are about. The “lines” in the title of this post is for the lined pages at Carolina Pad! You’ve already read and entered my previous Carolina Pad Giveaways so you know I love the brand. Well, I was selected to be Carolina Pad’s July 2011 Blogger of the Month! Yay! I was shocked and honored by this as I know they work with so many other lovely bloggers! I was featured in their monthly blogger email and got this snazzy button above. Plus, they are sending me a nice gift package (I just love school supplies).

As for the blinds, I was also recently notified that I was selected to be a member of Blinds.com’s M.O.B. or Mildly Obssessed with Blinds! I don’t really know what this will entail in the future. However, they say I will have the opportunity to give my readers unique discounts, deals, and info on their cool window blinds. UPDATE: Sadly, I never received anything from this membership and the company refuses to respond to my emails. As such, I have taken down the button and links to their site.

Now, for the last (but certainly not least) bit of news. Gosh, I’m so very excited to announce this. I recently received an email inviting me to visit Green Giant in Minnesota in mid-August for a few days! Ahh! Can you believe it? They actually picked me to attend to this event? I read the email several times before responding (actually I received it when I was out of town and it was on my cell phone so not all of it displayed correctly). I’m going to be flying out from the nearest airport on August 16th to the airport in Atlanta to catch a flight to Minneapolis. I will return on the 18th.

I’m so excited and nervous about this trip as I’ve never traveled alone. The only other time I’ve flown was on my trip to Texas and back with my awesome aunt and cousins when I was in high school. So, I’m really nervous about being at the ATL airport by myself with just 50 minutes to figure out where I need to be. Haha!

So, thank you Carolina Pad, Blinds.com, and Green Giant/General Mills for picking me for all of this awesome stuff!
