Carmex Skin Care Giveaway
A little over a year ago, I hosted a Carmex Giveaway. I’ve done a couple others since then. However, in that one I introduced you to the Carmex lotion and cream. They have been available at CVS and Walgreens, but have been newly added at Wal-mart.
Like I said last year, both products are wonderful. The lotion isn’t nearly as thick as the cream. However, it is still much creamier than some lotions I’ve tried (which were essentially the consistency of water). Both have a light and nice scent. They both last a long while. They even keep my hands moisturized thru several hand washes.
The lotion is great for this time of the year. I mean it’s not wintery cold yet (here). So, I can use the lotion daily for my moisturization needs. Then, the cream can be used for the driest skin I have (think feet). Granted, you can definitely use the cream now. I just think you need a creamier moisturizer for winter, so it makes sense to me that the lotion should be used now and cream for feet and/or later.
Plus, they now come in multiple sizes of bottles. In the kit I received for the review, there were two sizes of each kind. The bigger bottles are wonderful for my dorm room or at the house, you know a daily application thing. Then, the smaller bottles are perfect for carrying around in my purse or backpack. It is not even winter yet, but my skin is terribly dry. I wash my hands a lot and that really zaps the moisture. This is great prize package that would definitely help me out with that.
