Maybelline Baby Lips and Lots of Lashes Giveaway

You may have noticed the great remarks on the Maybelline New York’s Facebook Page about two awesome products – Baby Lips and Lots of Lashes. Thanks to my BzzAgent status, I was able to try these two new products from Maybelline. Baby Lips is a lip balm and Lots of Lashes is a mascara, both of which are things I use almost daily.

The Baby Lips lip balm is supposed to moisturize lips while keeping them protected. The balm has an SPF 20, so that’s better than nothing for sure. I will agree that the lip balm immediately makes lips feel smoother. However, it definitely does not last a full 8 hours. I also noticed that once the lip balm wore off, my lips felt like they needed something more on them immediately. I don’t know what is in it that causes you to want to use more of the product. Perhaps, the feeling of going from smooth/glide to dry is what it is. I just know that it was an odd sensation. It does moisturize and protect lips though. So, if those are your main concerns, it could be a good lip balm for you to try.

The Maybelline Lots of Lashes mascara features a unique brush (pictured above on the left). It is heart shaped, meaning the end of it is smaller than the middle of it. Plus, it has tons of bristles to really grab the lashes and apply the mascara. I was really pleased with the look of the mascara on my lashes (pictured above on the right). Granted, it didn’t completely avoid clumping up (do any mascaras do this?). However, it definitely made an impact on my lashes that wasn’t too dramatic or fake. I really like this mascara.

I have more samples of this stuff than I can use. So, I’m going to send one lucky reader a box of the remaining Lots of Lashes mascara and Baby Lips lip balm. Since this is being done by me, I’m going to make the entries a bit different than usual. The mandatory is for you to follow me on Twitter.
