You know that I just love featuring educational products, especially those from Scholastic. So, I was ecstatic when I had the chance to feature The Night Before Christmas Scholastic Boxed DVD Set. Like the other Scholastic dvd giveaway I did, this set features several wonderful books brought to life with a reading by someone famous.

The set has 12 beloved holiday stories on 2 dvds. These stories include: The Night Before Christmas, The Twelve Days of Christmas, In the Month of Kislev, Seven Candles for Kwanzaa, Too Many Tamales, Max’s Christmas, Morri’s Disappearing Bag, The Little Drummer Boy, Great Joy, Sam and the Lucky Money, The Clown of God, and Merry Christmas, Space Case. There is an additional feature of the Spanish version of Too Many Tamales! With so many stories, it would make the perfect gift for a young child or even teacher. I mean these stories can be used to teach children about other cultures, beliefs, and tolerance of these things.

You can view a Night Before Christmas DVD Video Clip on Amazon. I think it does a nice job of showing you how beautiful these dvds really are. The illustrations from the Scholastic books are used in the movies. So, children could actually follow along in those books which helps with their reading skills. Additionally, it could give a parent a break from reading a child’s favorite Christmas story. This dvd set is definitely worth the $19.99 price tag.
