You may have noticed that I am attempting to hoard all of the office supplies that I can in preparation for (hopefully) my first teaching job in the fall. Needless to say, I was actually pretty happy to be selected to review a new ballpoint pen, permanent markers, and the highlighters pictured here.

I received a wonderful four pack of the Paper Mate InkJoy 700 RT Ballpoint Pen in this shipment. I love its awesome gripper that makes for comfortable writing. I actually refuse to use regular pencils without a gripper, so I think it’s wonderful to encounter a pen with a nice gripper on it. It’s a bit squishy, yet a bit harder/stiffer than some grips I’ve used. I also appreciate the smooth ink in this pen that writes so beautifully. It simply flows out of the pen without clumps.

I also got a Sharpie Premium Pen which is simply fabulous. The stainless steel barrel makes me feel all fancy and dignified when I write. Haha! Seriously though, it looks so nice and graceful that it makes writing a little less dreadful. It’s such a nice pen that I’m not sure if I want to risk someone taking it by taking it to a school. I think that many people will find it to be classy and stylish, for either gender.

Lastly, I got the Sharpie Gel Highlighter to try. I actually did a whole review of these last year when they were new. So, it was nice to get another package of these. They actually last a really long time as I haven’t even used up all of the ones I got back in August! Plus, I like that they don’t smear, bleed, or dry out like other highlighters will. Overall, these are definitely fabulous highlighters. I just kind of wish they came in more colors besides the basic three.

These are definitely high quality writing utensils from Sanford and Shoplet. I can’t wait until my next review of them. Have you tried any of these items? What were your thoughts on them?
