Staples in Virginia now offers electronics recycling

Being a recent college graduate and (hopefully) a soon-to-be teacher, I love to talk about office products and electronics. So, obviously, one of my favorite places is Staples. I love their very affordable prices for products and wonderful selection. I also just learned about something happening in stores in my own state that I think is very cool!

Staples in Virginia now offers FREE electronics recycling! This means you can take your old electronics to your local Staples store to have them recycled without any cost to you! That is way better than it ending up in a landfill somewhere. Now, there is a 6 item limit per customer per day. However, I don’t know anyone who has 6 electronics that need to be recycled. Haha! Electronics accepted include computers, shredders, mp3 players, cell phones, etc.

This program is actually being provided by both Staples and HP. However, you can bring any brand of device and still have it recycled. Also, this is happening is stores in other states besides Virginia. I just like that my state is actually included in something. Haha!

Disclosure: Nothing was received for this post. I just wanted to share this with my readers.
