What to bring to Reviewer’s Retreat

As you already know, I’m very excited about attending my first blogging conference this weekend. You also know that I love to make lists. So, it’s only natural that I’ve begun packing for Reviewer’s Retreat and have created a list of stuff I want to take with me. I thought I would share the list with you (my awesome readers) in hopes of making sure I take everything I will need. If you spot something I left off the list, please leave me a comment to let me know what I need to add.

o Cell Phone and Charger
o Shampoo, conditioner, hairbrush, straightener
o Toothbrush, toothpaste
o Body wash, facial wash, lotion, deodorant, razor
o Makeup
o Pajamas, slippers
o Flip-flops, swimwear, plastic bag for swimwear, cover up
o Tailgating clothing
o Workout clothing (just in case?)
o Tennis shoes, two days of tops and bottoms, socks
o iPad/iPod Touch, laptop… which one??
o Notebook, pencil/pen/eraser
o Business cards, id, money, purse, camera and charger
o Reservation confirmation, ticket
o Planner

*** Should I take my iPad and/or laptop? I will have my cell phone with me as well. Let me know your thoughts in a comment.

Well, what do you think? Am I packing too much? Did I miss something? Let me know!

I’d take your laptop if its a bloggers conference. You will use it.

I would definitely bring a laptop. You never know when inspiration my hit and even though I’ve never been to a conference, I’ve never heard of one others have attended where a laptop wasn’t wanted/needed.

We have the same basic list. Other items I will bring will be: my back brace, a lanyard for blog badge, snacks, migraine meds, a swag bag to put any smaller swag bags all in one, and my vitamin drink mix. I sound like a walking medicine cabinet haha. I would take which ever you find easiest or most comfortable to blog/ socialize on with. I’m taking my netbook, I’ve tried blogging with the iPad and find it more difficult, but thats just my opinion. See you Sunday!

I have a similar list for RevRet12 as well! I am glad that you posted this though – very helpful to make sure I don’t forget anything I need!

As far as technology, I will pretty much just have my iPhone with me. My laptop will be in the room, but it has to constantly be plugged in (thanks to a sub-par battery!), so I doubt I’ll have it at the sessions with me.

If I had an iPad, that’s what I would take for sure. However, I will be rockin’ it old school with just a pen and notebook! :)

I take all of my gadgets just in case. I had a camera just stop working at a conference, so I want to be prepared. Plus I was a girl scout :)
