Day 1 at Reviewers Retreat

Wow! So, the first day at Reviewer’s Retreat has been something else. I have come into contact with so many interesting people and awesome brands already. I am rooming with some fabulous ladies. As you already know, I’m here thanks to Shanaka at Mama Bee Does. I’ve also had the pleasure of meeting Jerri Ann from Mom~E~Centric and Misty from CEO of Me. These ladies are keeping me laughing all day and night. They are a hoot for sure! There’s also April of Krazy Clippers who is one of the nicest people I’ve met. Lastly and certainly not least, there’s Bellesouth Blogs writer Eleanor in our room. As you can guess, hilarity has ensued here. That’s my kind of grouping.

One of the highlights of the day was when I had the opportunity to test drive a Kia Optima Hybrid. You might have seen my Tweets featuring the car. It was a wonderful experience and I really hope I get the opportunity to review it in the future.

Then, by Tweeting about the conference, I won an Energizer Inductive Charger! Wow! I am so surprised to have won something so fabulous. Thank you Energizer! I am excited to begin using it since I am quickly draining my devices here at the conference.

I actually haven’t had the time to look at the swag I’ve received in the swag bags yet. Although, from what I’ve seen, it is pretty awesome. Additionally, my super wonderful roomies gave me gifts! I didn’t know that was a thing for conferences. However, I am duly grateful for all of it and the opportunity to have met these lovely ladies here. This day has been great and I can’t wait for everything tomorrow holds.
