Meesh and Mia Team Branded Clothing Review

I told you last week that I was taking tailgating gear for Reviewers Retreat thanks to Meesh and Mia. Since I have gotten back from the conference, it is time to give my thoughts on the outfit I received from them. Let me begin this review by putting something out there. I live in southwestern Virginia. However, I don’t consider myself a true fan of Virginia Tech. In fact, it’s been since I started dating my boyfriend that I even watched one of their football games or even felt neutral for them. Haha! That being said, I wanted to wear clothing for a local team and I wanted something I thought I could put to use after the conference. My boyfriend’s family loves to watch VT games and are VT fans, so I knew I could wear the shirt again come fall.
Now, on to my review of the stuff. I picked the Virginia Tech tie back finale top in maroon for the shirt because I thought the back looked interesting online. The two little bows add some character and appeal to the outfit I think. I was a bit surprised by the front of the shirt though. It doesn’t look exactly like it’s pictured on the site as it just has VT in sparkles instead of a print logo. However, I enjoyed the sparkle much more than a simple print. So, that didn’t bother me at all.
I think the shirt looked well enough on me in the front. I did notice that the back ended up showing my bra and I wasn’t expecting that either. I didn’t let that bother me too much though and I was still able to enjoy the tailgating party while wearing it.
For the bottom, I thought the Viginia Tech denim mini skirt in black looked cute. I love that it has the VT logo in stones again on the right back pocket. It makes a plain skirt really nice. All of my roomies thought the skirt was really cute. However, I am sad to report that I didn’t get to wear the skirt to the actual party. You see, I changed into this lovely outfit as I was getting ready for the party and still in the room. I was walking around the room and I realized that my side felt a little breezy. I looked down and noticed that the zipper on the skirt had broken somehow and the skirt was open, revealing my skin. So, I took the skirt off and put my black pants on for the party. I have my mom looking at the skirt to see if she can fix it, but I’m not sure she can. I don’t what happened to the zipper but I’m glad I had something else to wear to the party.
Overall, the clothing from Meesh and Mia is really cute. Their clothing is perfect for a tailgating party or game viewing. I don’t know if I would recommend the skirt since the zipper gave out on me, but it could have just been mine. The shirt though is awesome. I really like it and am looking forward to wearing it again. Where do you get clothing to show your support for your favorite sports teams?
Disclosure: I received the skirt and shirt for free. No compensation was received. The opinions expressed are my own.

Lindsay, I am the Founder and President of Meesh & Mia. Don’t bother your Mom with the zipper, we will gladly replace the skirt! We are sorry that happened but will take care of it right away. Thanks for the review!
good response from Meesh & Mia–do you respond to non-bloggers the same way?
