My Reviewers Retreat 2012 Experience

Reviewers Retreat 2012 Swag 300x255 My Reviewers Retreat 2012 Experience

Late Sunday night I posted to tell you about the excitement I experienced on the first day at Reviewers Retreat 2012. However, after that I was too busy to post again to update you. Man oh man was Reviewers Retreat fun! I stayed busy the entire trip but I loved every minute of it. I had the best roomies ever and I miss them already. I am so thankful to have met them all. We had so much fun staying up late talking and giggling. Plus, I received all of the swag pictured above. icon biggrin My Reviewers Retreat 2012 Experience

On Monday I got to ride in a Kia Sorento to get lunch with my roomies. So, I actually got to test out 2 out of the 3 vehicles at the conference. Haha! You may have noticed my Tweet about the Kia Sorento second row air which was fabulous. I love that I was able to get some air while not being up front. Seriously, Kia vehicles are sweet. Their touchscreens and sleek looks are perfect for families and young people such as myself. I could definitely see myself getting a Kia in the future.

After lunch I got to experience Sponsor Speedway which is essentially speed dating with brands. Haha! It was a fun approach to meeting brands. I am hoping to feature some of the brands from the speedway in the future. In fact, I’m already in correspondence with one of them and planning to email another one. Hehe! Exciting things are happening here.

For dinner, I went out with the roomies. We had Japanese. Yummy! That was a lovely meal. We all left feeling stuffed with a box of leftovers which I accidentally left in the lodge’s refrigerator. Haha! Later that night, I went to the Pampers PJ Party and did the scavenger hunt with my roomies and a couple of other bloggers. We were team silver (which you might have seen our pictures on Twitter with the #teamsilver hashtag) and… we won! Yay! That was a wonderful way to end the long day full of fun. Then, today we attended the closing stuff and came home.

I am now behind with emails and such since I basically stepped away from the blog and email during the conference. Although, I certainly Tweeted lots more with pictures of stuff. However, I wanted to take the time to thank Pampers for being such a wonderful sponsor of the conference. I ended up coming home with an assortment of swag from them. All attendees received a Pampers swag bag with a towel and other goodies. Then, for winning the hunt, I received a really fabulous prize package. I got a HUGE duffle bag, makeup bag, Nike Team USA zip-up hoodie, and Pampers coupons. I also happened to get an inflatable torch. Isn’t this an awesome package??? Just look at everything I received thanks to Pampers!

Reviewers Retreat made for the perfect first blogger conference for myself and many of my fellow first timers. Everyone I met was enjoying themselves and were so friendly. Thank you to all of the sponsors of the conference and Double Duty Divas for putting this on. Perhaps, the conference will be close to me again in 2013 and I can attend again.

Disclosure: I received the items pictured above in the swag bags handed out at Reviewers Retreat. However, I was not required to post about any of it. No compensation was received. The opinions expressed are my own.
