Even though the games are still over a month away, P&G is already gearing up for the 2012 Olympics. P&G is also partnering with Lolo Jones, the world champion hurdler and U.S. Olympic hopeful, who recently announced that Procter & Gamble (P&G) is donating $25,000 on behalf of Family Dollar to the P&G Team USA Youth Sports Fund! This partnership is important to Lolo who was raised by her single mother and attended 8 different schools in 8 years.

On the site you can learn more about her and these great companies. I think it’s great that P&G is stepping up to help Family Dollar to keep our youth in sports. I know that as an educator, it is important to recognize a child’s interests and to get them involved in things.
