You might have noticed the addition of a Pinterest button on the right hand side with a link to my Pinterest boards. I resisted joining the site for a long time because I was afraid it would be a real time suck for me and I didn’t have time with school and all. Then, I finally joined and tried to keep it separate from my blog. However, now many brands want your Pinterest account info. Then, I attended a session on Pinterest at Type A Conference and one at Reviewer’s Retreat. So, I realized I need to fully embrace the new site. Without further ado, you can find my pins on Pinterest and keep up with me there. I am still figuring it all out, so please bare with me as I do so. I am trying to implement some of the tips I got at the conferences to do better on there.
Additionally, I wanted to share a last minute (but still exciting) contest from Kraft Foods. Being a Delicious Byte member, I get a head’s up on their promotions. Their most current promotion includes the Kraft Foods Pinterest boards. First, you need to follow them. Then, you need to create a board titled “Kraft Recipes Pin and Win” and be categorized under Food & Drink. Then, you have to pin 10 or more of your favorite summer recipes from Kraft Foods. Then, you send them an email with a link to your board. You can read the official rules here.
By Pinning, you can win one of ten $200 American Express gift card first prizes OR the grand prize of a $500 American Express gift card! Wow! Wouldn’t that be great to win? However, you better hurry because this contest ends July 4th (that’s next week). So, you should follow me and Kraft Foods on Pinterest. Then, go pin to win from Kraft Foods.
