I am hoping to move out of my parents house in the next couple of months. So, I am trying to feature products that will be very helpful when I do get my own place. One of the things that will be perfect for my first place is the VTech Retro Phone. This thing is so cool. It has that old retro look of a rotary telephone with its buttons on the front of the charging device. However, it’s really a cordless phone and its charger!
I just love this phone! It is so pretty. The black means it will match any decor I pick out. Plus, it’s shiny and reflective which gives it a really sleek look. I also love the retro rotary part of the phone. The base also has a speakerphone. So, you can use it to make phone calls without having to pick up the cordless phone. The base has a curved bottom which further adds to the phone’s sleek look.
There are actually several different features on this phone. This phone has caller id (which is a necessity these days) and a digital answering system. You can view up to the past 50 calls on either the base or the phone. The answering machine can be turned off or adjusted to pick up after so many rings. You may also pick from several different ring tones. There are some song-ish ones for us younger people and plain ringing ones for the older crowd (like my parents who like the ring).
Overall, this is a fabulous phone that I love. I think that with its throwback to the rotary phone with updated features, it’s perfect for phone users of any age. This phone has been used and appreciated by both me and my mom. I like the cool features and sleek look while she loves the rotary look and its simplicity.

We had a rotary phone when I was younger – I can’t believe it’s now “retro” this is making me feel old, haha. I love the look though – it would actually go perfect with the rest of my house.
