Being in education, I’m all for helping out children. This includes places like the Dave Thomas Foundation and Wendy’s Wonderful Kids, which is a program that helps foster children in need find great homes. Since Father’s Day is this weekend, Wendy’s is doing a great promotion with their Frosty. On Saturday, June 16 and Sunday, June 17, 50-cents from each Frosty purchase will be donated to the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption. This special promotion includes the original, parfaits, shakes and floats. So, you can enjoy a great treat with your family while helping out a child.

Additionally, you can use a mobile-friendly website to check in at Wendy’s and Wendy’s will donate 50-cents for every customer that checks in at Wendy’s restaurants during Father’s Day Weekend (June 16 and 17 only). Then, if you would prefer to help out on Twitter, you can re-tweet one of @Wendys special Tweets through Father’s Day, with the hashtag #TreatItFwd. Wendy’s will make a 50-cent donation for each designated re-tweet made from Treat it Forward.
