Oral-B Professional Precision Toothbrush Giveaway

You know that I try to have good oral health. I had braces when I was younger and I go to the dentist twice a year. I generally have good teeth. Although, at my most recent appointment with the dentist, he said that I needed to get my wisdom teeth pulled.
I’m already dreading that. However, I am all for keeping the rest of my teeth looking nice. I mean who wants to show up to a job interview with nasty teeth? Haha!
I was recently sent an Oral-B Professional Precision 1000 Toothbrush to try. I feel so fancy with my new toothbrush. I have used regular battery powered toothbrushes before, but never an electric toothbrush. So, I was ready to give this thing a go as soon as I received the email. The toothbrush comes with a charging base and it lights up when it is charging (seen photo on the right below). Then, when you use it switches up the pacing of the brush to tell you to switch quadrants of your mouth every 30 seconds. Then, at the end of 2 minutes (which is the recommended time for brushing teeth) it does a longer one to signal that time is up.
When I first began using this toothbrush, it was different for me. I had to get used to brushing my quadrants of teeth (lower left, lower right, upper left, upper right) versus just brushing. Also, take a piece of advice from someone who knows: wait until the brush is IN your mouth before you turn it on or you will get a mess all over the bathroom sink/mirror. Initially, I felt like 30 seconds and 2 minutes was too long. However, in the time that I’ve been using this brush, I’ve gotten used to the time and it feels natural now.

Something else I’ve noticed about this toothbrush is that it seems to get my teeth really clean. It provides up to 20,000 pulsations and 8,800 oscillations per minute! Wow! That means it can remove up to two times more plaque than a regular manual toothbrush. That would explain why my teeth feel so clean. Plus, the compact (and round) head which is pictured above allows me to move it around my mouth easily and to reach all of my teeth (even those darn wisdom teeth).
In case the possibility of having cleaner teeth or looking extra classy with your toothbrush isn’t enough for you, there is a deal going on right now. Oral-B is offering a $20 mail-in rebate on select electric toothbrushes from July 1 until September 30. So, if you purchase one of these right now, you can save some money on it. Lucky for you, I’m giving one away.
