Pure Leaf Tea Review

Being from the south, I have to love tea. However, we are very picky about the kind of tea we will drink. We prefer it sweet with ice. That doesn’t meant that I’m not open to trying new kinds of tea and using it in recipes. So, I was very excited to try Pure Leaf Tea in new ways. Just in time for summer entertaining, Top Chef judge Gail Simmons has created recipes using Pure Leaf Tea to help us enjoy the tea in a different way.
I first took a sip of the teas to see what they tasted like. Obviously, my favorite of the three I sampled was the Sweet Tea since I don’t like lemon or tea without sweetener. Haha! So, I decided it was too good to waste by putting it with something else. I thought the Unsweetened could use something. So, I looked over the Pure Leaf Tea recipes on the brand’s Facebook page. I love chocolate, so I enjoyed the idea of combining it with tea. I created Chocolate Tea (pictured above). It’s super easy. It’s really just milk, chocolate syrup, and tea. I didn’t measure the ingredients, but added each to taste. This created a unique taste. It was a nice combination that I wasn’t expecting. The tea gave my usual chocolate milk a different twang to it. It is certainly a more grown-up approach to chocolate milk. Plus, it’s fun for summer.
Not only is Pure Leaf giving us new ways to enjoy their tea, they are also being more eco-friendly this summer. They have a new square bottle that is made of PET plastic. It is lightweight and 100% recyclable. This means your guests will enjoy it when you serve the tea because it tastes good and you will feel good knowing you picked an environmentally friendly container. So, have you seen the new bottles from Pure Leaf? Have you tried any of their recipes?
