I have posted about how interesting I find charts and graphs to be in the past. I think they are pretty and easy to understand. I love how much information can be communicated or learned from a visual graphic. I will rely heavily on visual aids for my students once I begin teaching. So, I thought I would share an infographic with you about the United States Crime Rates Over The Years. I think it is pretty interesting to see the general decline of some crimes. I also found it to be somewhat alarming that Memphis, Tennessee has the second highest rate of violent crimes of cities in the US since it is the closest city to me that is mentioned in this graphic.
