I was recently sent a package of goodies, perfect for making an easy dinner ahead of time and storing it until needed. It featured the new Glad FreezerWare containers. These containers are different from other containers because they seal tight to keep food fresh in the freezer. They are also BPA-free and resist cracking. We are pretty impressed with them and how handy they are.

I was also sent some products to create dinner. There’s tortillas, enchilada sauce, and diced chilies. This kit came in handy last week as my mom was short on time and didn’t know what to fix for dinner. We used these ingredients with the addition of chicken to create our version of chicken enchiladas. I was a bit afraid it would be too spicy. However, it tasted really good. I actually a couple of them. It was great to fix something in a hurry and it was different from what we usually have.

It’s wonderful to make meals ahead of time and then freeze them in the containers. I think that maybe we should start doing that very thing more often since my mom gets home from work at varying times everyday. It would be nice to be able to just pull something out of the freezer and warm it up without it being something full of preservatives. These new Glad containers will be a hit with moms everywhere I’m sure.
