You might remember the wonderful John Frieda Giveaway I did last year where I fell in love with the hair care products from John Frieda. Today I would like to tell you about some other awesome products from John Frieda that are helping me and my hair get along. It’s a new line of John Frieda by Conair hair brushes. There’s actually several different brushes in this collection. However, I am going to focus on just 4 of them that I received.

I typically wear my hair straight. My hair is naturally wavy but I try to fight it. So, I was most excited to try the sleek FINISH Paddle Brush and the sleek FINISH Cushion Brush. Both of these brushes have silicone bristles that fight frizz and make my hair shiny. I didn’t think that a brush would help my frizzy hair. However, these bristles really do manage to tame my hair. Granted, they don’t make them pin straight. However, they do a much better job of helping me achieve the look I want than my regular brush was doing. I like the bigger brush of the Paddle Brush which lets me cover more ground quickly. The Cushion Brush is nice because it is smaller and round. They are now my favorite brushes. I keep one at home and one at my boyfriend’s house.

I also received a couple of the round brushes. There’s the volume CURLS Small Brush and the full VOLUME Medium Brush. I don’t usually use a round brush to style my hair. However, it’s nice to now have the option to do so with these brushes. They are really high quality brushes with their silicone bristles and Tourmaline technology to keep my hair looking fabulous. They can be used to create curls (obviously) or to straighten hair with a dryer. I don’t use these as much as the two brushes above, but they are good to have just in case.

Overall, I am very impressed with these new brushes. I will definitely be looking at them again in the future if I ever need a new hairbrush. Prior to these brushes, I thought hair brushes were pretty similar. Now, I realize that there is something to having a great hair brush.
