Two years ago, I did an Aunie Anne’s Pretzel Kit Review and Giveaway. Everyone that tried them loved them. Then, I saw that Auntie Anne’s had a new at-home baking kit that I knew everyone would love. It’s the apple cinnamon at-home baking kit. It is very similar to the original except that it contains other ingredients that can be used to make apple cinnamon pretzels (or other delicious treats). Since fall began on Saturday and it was football game weekend, I knew it was the perfect time to make this box of yumminess for my boyfriend and his family. I’m happy to report that it didn’t let me down.

Like I said, this kit is very similar to the other one. The pictures above show the dough prior to being placed in the oven. Like last time, my boyfriend and I shaped them into various things. I did a couple of regular pretzels just to show you what they look like. I also liked the idea of small pieces as well as balls. He did the cuter things. Then, we baked them and put a cinnamon/sugar mixture on the with some butter. Yum! By this point, the entire house smelled delicious. That’s because they are awesome! We made them Friday night and ate a few. Then, his sister and brother-in-law came over to watch the football game with us and his parents. His mom made chili beans and pie. Between all of us, these things were gone first. Haha! His sister actually cornered me to ask where I got the kit at since it’s not in stores around here yet. I did tell her about the original kit being sold in stores here as she didn’t want to have to order them and wait.

I also put some caramel sauce on some of them. It was gooey and yummy! The caramel melted over the warm pretzel to create the perfect fall treat. I definitely want to make these again. I might have to get the regular kit and see what else we can come up with.
