Lee National Denim Day 2012
Last year, I was happy to tell you how you could raise money to fight breast cancer with Lee Denim. This year, I’m once again thrilled to tell you about Lee’s 2012 National Denim Day. Lee National Denim Day is October 1st which is the first day of breast cancer awareness month (October). Lee Jeans is partnering with the American Cancer Society to encourage people to host a jean day at work where people donate $5 in exchange for wearing their jeans that day. You are supposed to host the day in October. So, you get a whole month to host it.
Additionally, you can create a Lee National Denim Day Team to raise money for the cause (note: this is a link to my team). You can even donate money to my team if you don’t want to start your own team. Every little bit helps…
Your donation helps the American Cancer Society discover new ways to prevent, find, and cure breast cancer while ensuring access to mammograms and providing free support to people with the disease.
As you may know, my grandmother is a breast cancer survivor. So, I encourage you to help out in anyway possible since this is a cause that is close to my heart. Please let me know how you are planning to take part this October in the comments.
Disclosure: I am a participating in the Lee National Denim Day with my own team. However, I received no compensation or product for doing so. The opinions expressed are my own.

I had no idea about this. Thanks!
Great cause. I support the American Cancer Society by walking in the Making Strides event.
That is a great idea! I want to participate in this one!
I’d rather be involved in this fundraising because of where the money is going. My mom is a survivor too. Thanks for the info.
hmmm thats a great idea!
