Macy Heart of Haiti Bracelet Review

I don’t wear much jewelry beyond earrings and a watch. However, I love it when I get the opportunity to help others by purchasing something for a good cause. So, I was happy to receive a bracelet from Macy’s Heart of Haiti collection. Heart of Haiti pieces are handmade by Haitian artists and then sold by Macy’s. This allows the devastated country of Haiti to build back from the 2010 earthquake as it gives its residents a way to make money. It puts its people back to work and brings money back into their economy. The artisans receive half of the wholesale price of each item purchased. The money is used to help the artisans and their family in a reasonable way.

For this review, I received the horn stretch bracelet. It’s a black and white bracelet made of cow horn. I wear black often. So, I like the colors of this bracelet. I think it will match many of my outfits. It will be a great way to dress up a plain outfit and it’s a great conversation piece.
I also like how the bracelet is crafted. I have big wrists and fat fingers. So, I hate having to use bracelets with clasps. This is a stretchy bracelet. So, I can easily put it on and take it off. I love that. I can take it off to wash my hands completely and easily. Plus, its stretchiness means it actually fits me. Overall, it’s a very nice bracelet.
So, what do you think of my bracelet? Do you want to own one? Then stay tuned for your chance to win one from Macy’s!
Disclosure: I received a free bracelet. No compensation was received. The opinions expressed are my own.
