As you already know, my everyday cell phone is not smart. Haha! It’s an old flip phone that allows me to check emails, take pictures, text, and make calls. However, that’s about all it will do. For the past month or so, I’ve been spoiled trying out the Nokia Lumia 900 smartphone. Oh my goodness, it’s wonderful. I love all of its many features.
For starters, I can do so much more with it. I can actually download apps now. I am a fan of the Weather Channel’s app. I also love that I can play games on it. In fact, this phone runs the Windows Phone platform. That means I was introduced to and am now addicted to Wordament. It’s a word game that is only available on Windows Phones. I had no idea about that before I began playing it. Now, I love playing the game on my phone. Since it is a Windows Phone, it does require that you have a Hotmail account to run. It uses that to set up your Xbox live player id for their games.

It’s worth noting that I had never used a Windows Phone prior to this. I had used other platforms and so it took a little while to get used to Window’s boxy set-up. I’m not sure I like the colored boxes with a plain background. I do wish it had more options for that. However, I love that I can select a cupcake wallpaper that displays every time I bring up the screen. You have to press a button on the right hand side and scroll the wallpaper up to unlock the phone (that is another feature I’m a fan of). Look how nice it looks!

Speaking of looking nice, don’t you love the looks of the phone itself? It is a beautiful blue called Attus Cyan. I think it’s beautiful and fits me perfectly. It’s also very slim and fits into tight spaces. Another beautiful thing about this phone is its camera. It has a 8MP auto-focus camera which takes crisp and clear photos. I just wish that there were more photo editing options already on the phone so I wouldn’t have to find an app for it.

I really like this Nokia phone. I wish I had AT&T cell service now so I could continue to use the phone since that is the service the phone is with. However, I have hopes that Nokia will make a cool phone similar to this for my current cell phone service provider. So, what do you think of the Nokia Lumia 900? Stay tuned for an extra special giveaway!
Disclosure: I received a free Nokia Lumia 900 smartphone with 2 months of AT&T service. No compensation was received. The opinions expressed are my own.

Sounds like a great phone
I really want to try a windows phone. I’ve been stuck on android and I’m tired of it repeatedly crashing. It’s also a pain to get my hotmail account to sync with it.
That’s something new, familiarizing with Windows; I’ve used it with PCs but never a phone. Love the colors available.
