They are called Progresso Light Creamy Soups. Each serving has just 100 calories and 2 PointsPlus value per serving! So, you can tell that they are better for you with less fat. Additionally, it comes in two tasty varieties: Light Creamy Potato with Bacon and Cheese and Light Chicken Pot Pie Style. The Light Chicken Pot Pie Style has at least 33% fewer calories than regular ready-to-serve soups while the Light Creamy Potato with Bacon & Cheese has 50% fewer calories than the leading potato, cheese, and bacon ready-to serve soup!

I received a lovely gift pack featuring the soups recently. It even came with a handy soup mug. This made it so easy to enjoy the soup. I just poured the soup into the mug (although, be careful as there is just slightly too much soup to fit into a mug cleanly) and microwaved it. Yay for ease of preparing. However, I’m sure you’re wondering if Progresso sacrificed flavor for taste. Well, I’m happy to report that I really like these soups. They are delicious! I thought there could have been more chunks of stuff in them, but they were still great. They were liquid yet still creamy. It was a good combination for sure. I know I’ll be eating more of this come winter. They will be great for packing my lunch for substitute teaching.
