Being in education, I’m all about supporting children and their parents. Naturally, I wanted to tell you about Sports Illustrated Kids and their cool new contest. Sports Illustrated Kids brings the best in sports news to a new group of readers, those readers being children. I know how difficult it can be to get some kids to read. So, I’m all for getting reading material that is of interest to children. If a child is interested in the topic then they are motivated to read and that is an accomplishment. I think it’s fabulous this magazine exists for kids now.
Additionally, there is the Sports Illustrated Kids 2012 Sportsparent of the Year Contest I want to tell you about. If you (or someone you know) is a parent who places the importance of living an active and healthy lifestyle front and center in your family, then they will want to enter this one. The winner will not only receive the awesome title of the 2012 Sportsparent of the Year, but they will also win a $1,000 gift card that can be used to purchase sports supplies and pay for your child’s other sports needs! Wow! Wouldn’t that be great? Additionally, they may appear in an upcoming issue of Sports Illustrated Kids. Talk about bragging rights.
Now, I’m sure you want to win this great prize. However, you must hurry to enter now. The contest ends on September 24th. So don’t delay if you want to win. You can also keep up with latest on the Sports Illustrated Kids Facebook page. Let me know if you enter the contest in the comments below (and especially if you win).
Disclosure: I will be receiving a SI Kids goody basket and a year subscription to Sports Illustrated Kids for posting this. The opinions expressed are my own.
