Coinstar Marriott eTravelCard Giveaway

A couple of months ago, I told you about my first time using Coinstar to cash in some coins. However, I thought I should elaborate on the quick and painless process. You simply place your coins on the metal tray. Then, you use the touchscreen to begin the process. You select if you want an eGiftCard (and which one) or cash. Then, you pick up the tray’s handle to move the coins down into the machine which counts them. It even shows on the screen how many of each type of coin you have deposited as well as the total amount so far. Then, once you have pushed all of the coins into the machine, it processes it and spits out your receipt which contains your eGiftCard and/or cash. You don’t have to even count anything. You just push a few buttons and move the coins into the machine while it does the rest of it.

Last time I used my change to get a nice iTunes eGiftCard. Well, now I’m excited to tell you about another awesome no-fee option you have from Coinstar. This no-fee option means that the machine will take and count your coins to print out an eGiftCard for you for free! So, it cuts down on the weight you carry around and it’s nicer to hand over for payment (or gift) than change. There are several different no-fee options from Coinstar (and they vary from location to location) including Old Navy, Starbucks, and Marriott.

I thought it was very intriguing to see Marriott on the list as I had no idea you could even purchase a Marriott eTravelCard. An eTravelCard can be used at a Marriott for a variety of services. This obviously includes a stay at a Marriott, but you can also pamper yourself with these things. You could get a swanky spa treatment, enjoy brunch with the girls, or even go for a round of golf with the guys. It obviously depends on the location as to which services they offer. Nonetheless, a Marriott eTravelCard can be used to ensure that you (or a loved one) can get to fully experience and enjoy your stay there. I was actually surprised to learn that many Marriotts have a full service spa as well as restaurants. So, you could use the eTravelCard to simply travel across town for a nice dinner with your significant other (I think that sounds fabulous).
