Dollop Gourmet Frosting Spread Giveaway

You know that I love all things cupcake. I love watching tv shows about cupcakes (especially Cupcake Wars) and eating them. So, imagine my delight when I was contacted by a Cupcake Wars winner to promote their newest product. I received an email from Heather at Dollop Gourmet out of New York where she crafts delicious cupcakes. She also recently came up with the idea to “Break Away from the Cake” with the frosting. That’s because she has come up with frosting spread.

The frosting spread is available in two different sizes: Ultimate Dude (16 oz) and Ultimate Dude Pack (pocket-pack size). It currently comes in Peanut Butter Cookie Dough flavor and you can purchase the frosting spread online. I love that because I always want to try the delicious creations I see on TV or online. However, I don’t live near a cupcake place (sadly). So, I get excited when I can purchase something sweet and it arrives on my doorstep.

I had fun trying this stuff out. I tried it first with some apple slices since I usually like them with peanut butter. I was a bit surprised by how the spread looked. It had dark bits in it and it came out of the tube in a funny shape. I guess it was kind of a dollop versus a super creamy consistency when it was squeezed out of the tube. I did like that I could simply squeeze some out instead of having to use a knife to spread it. The taste was really sweet. I like the difference between the saltiness of a pretzel stick and the spread. It is definitely fun coming up with things to pair it with.
