My boyfriend has recently become a fan of using hummus on his sandwiches and burgers whenever possible. However, prior to this post, I wasn’t a huge fan of hummus. I just figured that hummus wasn’t for me. However, the Sabra Dipping Co has definitely made me change my mind. Their high quality hummus tastes delicious and looks really pretty. Plus, there are so many different varieties available.

Let’s start with the look of the hummus. Look at the picture above. It’s exactly how my Tuscan Herb Hummus looked when I first opened the package! Isn’t that gorgeous? I was impressed that they went to such an effort to make the hummus look appealing. I mean that definitely made it easier for me to try it since it looked so good. The hummus also looks good on food…

I first tried the hummus on a ground turkey sandwich. We used a whole wheat ciabatta bun, cheese, onions, lettuce, and my boyfriend had olives. Let me tell you, it was delicious. The hummus brought out an entirely new flavor to regular ground turkey. Plus, it was healthier than using a fattening mayonnaise on the sandwich to give it some juiciness. I was so impressed with the flavor of the hummus that I actually put some on a pretzel later that night. It was great, too. I think I have finally found something new to put on my sandwiches with Sabra. They have so many different dips, there’s something for everyone. They even have salsas and veggie dips which I want to try eventually.
