Shot@Life Champion Summit Schedule #globalvax

Shot@Life Champion Summit

You may recall last month that I announced that I would be attending the Shot@Life Champion Summit as a delegate. Well, I’m happy to report that the summit is going on right now. I am obviously writing this post (and scheduling it) ahead of time. So, I thought I would share my tentative schedule with my readers, so you know what I’m up to. Additionally, don’t forget that you can keep up with all of the delegates on Twitter by following #globalvax

As a reminder, I want to take a moment to tell you about Shot at Life. It’s a movement by the UN Foundation to provide vaccines to children. They want to help every child reach more milestones in life. I think that is a great thing and I’m very honored to now be apart of the movement.

Yesterday, I should have taken an airplane from my local airport to Atlanta. Then, I should have caught another plane to D.C. Hopefully, all of that went well and I was able to check-in at the hotel without a hitch. This is my first time in D.C. and I hope I won’t have gotten lost. After my arrival, I should have heard opening remarks for the Shot@Life Champion Summit and attended a reception for it.

Today, should be very exciting for me. I’m supposed to go to Capitol Hill and potentially meet with members of Congress. Fingers crossed that I don’t embarrass myself today. Also, dinner should be good as the schedules says it’s at the Hamilton.

Tomorrow will be the last day of the Shot@Life Champion Summit. I think it is when we should cover the meat of the summit. I am looking forward to learning more about the movement and how I can help. You can bet I will be posting about this in the future.

Finally, I will be returning home on Wednesday. Here’s to hoping that day of traveling goes smoothly as well.

So, what do you think of the Shot@Life Champion Summit schedule?

Disclosure: The UN Foundation is paying for my trip. No compensation was received. The opinions expressed are my own.
