Back in the fall, I was happy to introduce you to this film with my Oriental Trading giveaway since they did a promotion to celebrate the theatrical release of the film. Now that the movie is available on DVD and Blu-ray from Fox Home Entertainment, I’m happy to mention it again and share these wonderful resources (including some Free Birds coloring pages) with you.

One of my favorite Free Birds coloring pages is this one, which features all three of the main birds (characters) from the movie.

Lastly, here’s a great Free Birds word search that is fun for children and adults. 😉

In case you need a reminder of what Free Birds is about, here’s a brief synopsis of the film (which sounds awesome):

From the Academy Award®-Winning producer of Shrek* comes a hilarious animated adventure about two turkeys from opposite sides of the tracks who travel back in time in order to keep their species off the Thanksgiving menu. Featuring an all-star voice cast, including Owen Wilson, Woody Harrelson and Amy Poehler, Free Birds is loaded with laughs and stuffed with fun for the whole family!

I think this title sounds like great fun for the whole family. Children love the animated characters and fun storyline. Adults can enjoy the actors who lend their voices to this film. I usually love Amy Poehler’s stuff. So, I’m most excited for this one because of her. I’m sure it will be full of laughs and a great way to unwind after a long day in the classroom.
