You may have noticed the addition of the I’m going to Blogger Bash NYC 2015 button on my travel page. If you were wondering how that went, then let me fill you in.
Disclosure: I received a complimentary pass to Blogger Bash NYC 2015.
Blogger Bash NYC
I should begin by saying that I was already headed to New York City to volunteer at another conference, prior to being invited to Blogger Bash NYC. Sadly, that meant that I was unable to go to all of the events that interested me at this one. In fact, I was only able to attend the first day’s events at Blogger Bash.
I’m so sad that I missed the second full day of events. Unfortunately, I missed their Disney Infinity breakfast, The Peanuts Movie Luncheon, a Rite Aid Recharge Lounge, Speed Dating with brands, and even a Canadian Lentils Carnival closing party! Wow! I’m a little sick just thinking about everything that I missed out on.
However, I can say that day 1 of Blogger Bash NYC 2015 was filled with equally awesome stuff. It started out with a Care Bears Share Your Care Brunch. They served delicious food while showcasing all of the fabulous new things we can expect from Care Bears over the next several months as we head into the holiday season. Plus, they deemed everyone in attendance a Share Your Care Ambassador and challenged us to share a Care Bear with those people who we think might need some extra loving. I think it’s a great idea to try to make the world a better place, just by showing you care.
Following that brunch, we headed over to the Astor Place Theater to view a special Blue Man Group performance! I have to say that I was pretty tickled to finally see a Blue Man Group performance as I’ve heard lots about them. Look out for an upcoming post about this event in particular which will feature a special giveaway!
After the performance, we were bused back to Pier 60 for Sweet Suite! This was my second time attending Blogger Bash NYC but third Sweet Suite. I can honestly say that this was the best Sweet Suite to date. It had amazing food to sample (no need to go out for dinner here) at every turn. Plus, you could (and I did) spend hours walking around. There were over 80 brands in attendance! I enjoyed learning about some of the upcoming toys and foods. I even enjoyed walking around and meeting up with reps/bloggers that I’ve been in contact with online. Oh, and it doesn’t hurt that they are shipping me a 12 pound box of swag either.
Blogger Bash NYC definitely stands out in the crowd of blogging conferences, in my mind. Their events are hosted at some swanky places with delicious foods to enjoy. Plus, they always have some fabulous sponsored events going on. I mean, what other conference has a carnival for a closing party or the Biggest Night of Play?
I certainly wouldn’t mind heading back to Blogger Bash NYC again next year and look forward to any announcements they make about it.
