I was recently introduced to the new line of Burt’s Bees Gud. Burt’s Bees is known for their natural line of beauty products and I am familiar with some of them (including their lip balm). So, when I was told that they were launching a new line called Gud, I was interested in experiencing it.
Burt’s Bees recently launched a new line called güd! This fun, new collection includes all the “gud” stuff of sunshine and laughter! Treat your senses to 4 luscious scents; Floral Cherrynova, Orange Petalooza, Vanilla Flame and Pearanormal Activity.
I received a sampling of the new products (pictured above). My favorite product received is the body butter. It has a great, creamy texture to it. It is a wonderful whole body moisturizer. It leaves my skin feeling soft. I also really like the hand cream. It does a great job of keeping my hands moisturized through the cold winter weather and the washes of kindergarten. Haha! The conditioner I received is very nice as well. It is thick and rich. It leaves my hair healthier without weighing it down. The body mist is ok. I’m not a big body mist user. I prefer perfume when I wear a scent and I haven’t been wearing one to the school (for obvious reasons). However, it is a nice body mist.
I believe I have tie for my favorite scent. I love the Vanilla Flame and Pearanormal Activity. The hand cream came in Vanilla Flame. I have been putting some on before bed and can still smell it the next day! I think it’s a nice, sweet scent that’s not too sweet. The addition of rice milk keeps the vanilla from being too sweet like most vanilla-scented things I’ve smelled. It’s definitely a good, warm scent for winter. I received the Pearanormal Activity scent for the body butter. It has a juicy scent that lasts a while as well. I love the name for it, too.
The conditioner came in Orange Petalooza. It is an interesting scent, I think. It smells like a blood orange flower. I’m not a huge fan of oranges or their smell. However, this is ok. Lastly, the body mist came in Floral Cherrynova. I don’t care for this scent. It is definitely feminine. However, it’s not for me.
