I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I love to eat! I really enjoy eating sweet things. However, those things are often not good for me. In fact, they are often not part of a healthy diet. Haha! That’s why I was excited when I received something new from Dole (you know, the fruit company). They’re called Real Fruit Bites. The Bites are little pieces of dried fruit covered in yogurt with whole grain oats on top. There are three different fruit varieties available: mango, apple, and pineapple.

I was lucky enough to receive a sample of each of the three flavors. I LOVE apples! So, I was most excited to try them. I am happy to report that they taste really good. Also really good was the pineapple. What surprised me was the mango chunks. I actually don’t usually like mango or mango flavored things. I tried them last and figured I would end up having to give them to my boyfriend. However, I was wrong. I really like them! I actually haven’t given him any of the mango. Haha!

While all three taste delicious, they are also pretty healthy for you. The mango chunks contain only 80 calories per package! Woot! I have been packing a bag of one of the varieties in my lunch everyday since I received them. They are a nice sweet treat that I don’t feel guilty about eating. Plus, I love that I don’t have to refrigerate my lunch or store it in any special way or container. It really is a convenient way to enjoy fruit (and yogurt). They are perfect for the busy mom, college student, or child.

All three varieties taste wonderful! They do look a little funny since they are covered in yogurt and have whole grain oats on them. However, once you taste them, you won’t give their appearance a second thought. Actually, you might have thoughts about wanting more after you finish the pack.

I used to prefer little handbags. However, in recent years, I’ve come to adore big ones. I think that’s simply because I have so much more stuff to carry. I know this semester, I’m always carrying around several items. So, I’ve begun looking for bigger bags to handle all of my stuff. Then, I discovered Flaunt Fashion. They are a wonderful assortment of bags in beautiful colors and patterns. I selected a tote bag to test out for the last little bit of student teaching.

I was excited to receive my bag since I have been using the same one all semester. However, I was sad when I realized that it wouldn’t hold everything I had in my old tote bag. This bag is really more of a large purse, I think. It can hold a notebook, but not a notebook with a binder and an umbrella, camera, etc. Haha!

I love all of the little pockets inside the bag. They are perfect for holding all of my essentials in place. For instance, I can fit my digital camera in one, my keys in another, some lip gloss and the like in yet another. There’s a total of six pockets, so you can get really organized with this purse. I like that it snaps close. I do from time to time wish it zipped close, but the snap looks better.

Speaking of looks, the broadway black tote bag I received is simply gorgeous! I love this pattern (pictured above). I tend to carry dark colored bags. So, I like that this one has both black and white on it. I also like that the bag itself is a nice fabric but the straps and black detailing are a different material. The silver plaque with “Flaunt” on it is a great finishing touch to the bag. This bag will definitely stand out in a crowd and gets noticed. Now, one lucky reader will win one.

Earth Day is quickly approaching. So, I know many people are looking for ways to be more Eco-friendly (I know I am). My mom has always kept a gallon of milk on hand. I have grown up drinking milk. So, it’s only natural that I’m a big milk drinker.
