Today, I want to share my bad hair day tips with you because I know that we’ve all been there before. Those days when the weather won’t cooperate or you get a bad haircut. That’s where I hope I can help you.

Bad Hair Day Tips
As I stated above, we’ve all had a bad hair day (or two or three). However, with my few simple bad hair day tips and reminders, I hope to prove that it’s ok.
My worst hair day SOS came on my college graduation. You see, my hair tends to be frizzy anyways. So, I straighten it to make it act right. That morning, I fixed it and had it looking nice (as you can see in the picture on the left, which I took prior to leaving the house). However, about half-way into the outdoor ceremony, it began to drizzle/rain. As you might imagine, it messed up my hair. Now, all of my pictures from that day feature my hair acting all crazy! You can see the end result on the right.
However, from that day I was able to learn a few great bad hair day tips:
- Wear a hat or accessory. I got lucky that I had already my graduation cap on. So, I kept it on for pictures to try and hide some of the mess. I also could have used some hair accessories to put it up and out of the way.
- Come prepared. This is something I learned the hard way. I wish I had a brush on hand to tame the mane that day, but I didn’t. For my next big day, I’ll be sure to have extra supplies on hand, just in case.
- Lastly, remember that it’s ok. It’s not the end of the world to have frizzy hair (or even a bad hair cut). If it’s a big day, what’s important is that the event happened, not what you looked like. If it’s a regular day, just remember that there’s always tomorrow.
Thankfully, I just had a bad hair day. Unfortunately for the women in this Aflac ad, they aren’t so lucky. Take a look at the newest “Duck Salon” ad for Aflac where the Aflac duck has decided to try his hands (wings) at hairstyling.
Aww! Haha! Poor Aflac duck is great at processing claims in one day, but not cutting hair. In case you missed it, Aflac now has a One Day Pay promise and they will try to pay a policyholder when they get hurt or sick in as little as one day! That means that Aflac works hard to have claims processed the same day they are submitted, rather than making you wait for your money. Now, that’s something to brag about!
