The beginning of a new year often means a renewed sense of well-being (or lack thereof). Many people make resolutions to get healthier in the new year. I know I made a plan to get healthier last year and am going to strive to continue my healthier lifestyle. I will be in the classroom this year and staying with my parents. That means I have even more reason to stay fit and healthy. I mean it would be so easy to catch something from a student and then come home and give it to my dad (he has a poor immune system). So, I’m not only trying to stay healthy for me and my future, but for my dad.
Trying to be healthy can be really hard (as I’ve discovered over the past year). It’s only recently that I realized that while I am eating better and working out, I could still benefit from some supplements. The website Nutrition Possible features an assessment that allows you to figure out what nutrients/foods you need more of as well as which supplements would help you on your journey to good health. I took the quick quiz and learned that I need to eat more Omega-3 as well as fruits and veggies.
Thankfully, Centrum has come out with three new supplements called ProNutrients. This includes: Omega-3, Fruit and Veggie, and Probiotic. It turns out that I could actually benefits from all three of them with my busy schedule and lifestyle this year. The Omega-3 would help support healthy eyes (something I’m pretty concerned about given my dad’s history and that I already wear glasses), heart (hello accelerated heart rate), and brain structure. The Fruit and Veggie can provide some of the nutrients I need for cell protection and general health. The Probiotic could build my immunity up so I don’t get sick from the little kids at school (I will be in kindergarten for one of my student teaching placements).
Plus, you can check out their Facebook page for a Centrum ProNutrients $5 off coupon. Additionally, I am being allowed to host a giveaway for a lucky reader to try one of these three new supplements from Centrum so they can kick-start a healthier new year!
I am participating in a ProNutrients campaign hosted by One2One Network. I received nutritional product and compensation. While all opinions stated are my own, I make no claims about ProNutrients as a product or its effectiveness.
