I participated in a Dove Clear Tone Deodorant campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Dove. I received product samples to facilitate my review as well as a promotional item as a thank-you for participating.
One of the few beauty brands that I’ve been lucky enough to post about several times and still love to work with is Dove. I’ve been posting about them since 2010, that’s practically the whole time I’ve been blogging. I’ve been a fan of their products for years and I love to use them whenever I get the chance. One of my favorite products of theirs is the Dove Clear Tone deodorant.

Have you ever noticed just how harsh shaving can be on underarm skin? I notice how bad my underarms can get during the summer when I shave more often because I’m wearing short sleeved shirts. However, I can also have problems in the cooler months just because my underarms get dried out and then I shave them still. Apparently, I’m not alone in this battle of keeping my underarms from looking completely gross. In fact, 32 million women in the U.S. experience underarm red and dark marks that result from shaving irritation. Wow! That is a fairly large number, so chances are, at least one of my readers experiences this as well. That is because as a result of shaving, underarm skin loses 50% more moisture, which can lead to dryness and irritation. See, we knew that shaving was hard on our underarm skin.
Thankfully, Dove Clear Tone Anti-Perspirant/Deodorant is designed to reduce red and dark marks in just two weeks, while also providing 1/4 moisturizers to replenish skin after women’s daily shaving routines. That is similar to all of the other Dove beauty products I’ve tried as they all are very good at keeping my skin/hair moisturized. What’s different about the Dove Clear Tone products is that they are specially formulated with Calendula and Sunflower Seed Extracts to accelerate the natural skin renewal process to help restore skin to its natural tone. It’s because of this that I was on board to try two different types of this deodorant.
Dove Clear Tone also offers 48-hour odor and wetness protection and comes in four variants including new Pink Rosa – a floral and fruity fragrance. I got to try the Pink Rosa as well as Sheer Touch recently. Once again, I’m very pleased with the Dove beauty products. Both varieties offer a light, yet feminine scent that helps make me smell better. In fact, they both provide 48 hours of odor and wetness protection!
It’s so nice to find a deodorant that keeps me looking, smelling, and feeling better. The Dove Clear Tone keeps my armpits from having dark spots while keeping me dry and smelling fresh. I’d say that’s a huge hit. In case you are interested in trying Dove Clear Tone, it is available at drugstores nationwide. You can also keep up with the latest from Dove on the Facebook page and on their Twitter account.
