They can loan us the money to purchase those must-have gifts before we are able to get our paychecks (which means you can score that killer deal). Disclosure: H&R Block has asked me to help promote the Emerald Advance Line of Credit. The prize was provided and may be shipped to the winner by H&R Block, but all opinions expressed in the post are my own and not those of H&R Block. Entrants must be 18 or older and located in the US only. Winner to be chosen at random.
H And R Block Emerald Advance
The H And R Block Emerald Advance line of credit is different than other forms of credit because it’s a year-round line of credit. That means you can borrow and repay up to $1,000 repeatedly, whenever you need it. You can apply at a H&R Block office beginning November 25th, which is just in time for the Black Friday and Cyber Monday specials (as well as any last-minute items for Thanksgiving dinner/dessert).
I think the H and R Block Emerald Advance would be pretty convenient, especially for people like me. Since I’m a teacher, I get paid once a month. I get paid towards the end of the month. So, I could definitely see the benefit of being able to borrow some money to go shopping around the holidays and then paying it back once I get paid for the month. Plus, it would have also been handy recently when I moved into my first apartment and everyone wanted a down payment (rent + security, electricity, etc.) but I haven’t even earned my first paycheck yet.
Young people just starting out or people on fixed incomes that get paid once a month would probably benefit most from the H and R Block Emerald Advance. However, I can definitely see it being useful for families when they need extra cash for an accident or the unexpected. You can read more about this helpful service on the H&R Block site. So, have you used the H and R Block Emerald Advance line of credit?
