I recently got to try something new from Kraft, the new Homestyle Macaroni & Cheese Dinners!
KRAFT HOMESTYLE Macaroni & Cheese Dinner is bound to become a family favorite with rich and creamy real cheese sauce over steaming macaroni and topped with crunchy breadcrumbs. There’s even an optional oven finish that will leave them thinking you created an entire meal from scratch.
There’s 3 of these delicious dinners to try: Classic Cheddar Cheese, Hearty Four Cheese, and Old World Italian with Parmesan & Romano Cheese. I’ve received all 3 and tried 2 of them so far. So, I’m going to share with you about the Classic Cheddar Cheese and Hearty Four Cheese in this post and save the Old World Italian for a later post.
First, I tried the Classic Cheddar Cheese. This one is really good. My mom thinks it’s the better of the two. It has a really smooth and cheesy taste. Here is a picture of our prepared classic cheddar mac & cheese!
I really wanted you to see how yummy the added bread crumbs make it look! It really looks like my mom spent a lot of time making this. Granted, it does take longer to make than the usual macaroni and cheese. However, it doesn’t take too long. Plus, it tastes really good.
My favorite of the two is Hearty Four Cheese. I liked it better because I thought it had a richer, saucier taste to it with the blend of the four cheeses (parmesan, asiago, colby and cheddar). I actually think the Hearty Four Cheese looks a little brighter in color. So, here is the picture of it!
I’ve really enjoyed getting to try both of these dinners and can’t wait to try the next one. However, I thought that a post comparing these two would be fun since they are similar. If you want a smoother cheesy taste, opt for cheddar. If you want a mixture of cheeses that has a little more punch, go with the four cheeses.
Disclosure: I received a free sample of each of these dinners for review purposes. No compensation was received. The opinions expressed are my own.
