Did you know that today is Earth Day? Well, it is. Today is the day that we remember to be kinder to our planet. So, I wanted to feature a brand of products I love. Even back in 2011, I did a summer beauty products giveaway which featured this brand. Just in time for Earth Day, they have come out with a new line of hair care products. It’s the Aveeno Pure Renewal line! I can’t wait to try these new products, but I wanted to go ahead and share this giveaway with you for Earth Day.

I simply love Aveeno products. Aveeno is actually my preferred brand of lotion for my legs (they get dry with shaving). I have also used other Aveeno hair care products in the past and have been pleased with the results. They always leave my hair feeling and looking great. I can only imagine that this new line will have the same desired results.

Summer Beauty Products Giveaway

You already know from my previous Neutrogena Beauty Products Reviews and Aveeno Beauty Care Reviews that I love these two brands. So, I was very excited to feature them again as they have some wonderful summer beauty products.

One of these lines is the Aveeno Living Color Hair Care. This line has UV protection which helps prevent color fading/brittle hair during the summer! This keeps your color lasting longer! Plus, since it’s from Aveeno, you know that it keeps your hair soft and manageable. I love how smooth and soft it makes my hair feel. It also has nice scent to it. I really like this line – it’s perfect for summer hair care!

Then, there is the Neutrogena Revitalizing Lip Balm which has SPF 20! This thing is really awesome! It protects your lips from the sun, which is really important at they are delicate tissues. Plus, it makes your lips smooth and moisturized. Then, it provides a nice touch of color. There’s just so many benefits of this lip balm. The color it provides is subtle, even for fair-skinned people like myself. I really like the color and how it makes my lips feel. It is definitely my favorite summer time lip balm.

Lastly, there is the Neutrogena Healthy Skin Compact Makeup SPF 55! Yes, you can protect your skin with SPF 55 with your foundation! It uses that awesome Helioplex technology to protect your skin. It’s a cream foundation which is nice for summer weather. It comes with a nice spongey applicator and a mirror. This stuff is so easy to use, plus it doesn’t look weird on my pale skin. Haha!

Wet Skin Sunblocks

I don’t know if you have picked up on it or not, but I’m an extremely pale person. Depending on the day/sunlight/clouds/etc. it might not take but an hour or two for me to get a sunburn. Additionally, skin cancer runs in my family. Needless to say, I do NOT go to a tanning bed and lay. I wish I could say I was perfect and remembered to apply sunscreen all of the time. However, I do not. Sometimes I simply forget to put any on before I go out. Then, if I’m at a pool or something like that, I might not remember until I’m already wet or sweating. Then, most sunblocks will just rub off on my wet skin. Luckily, I recently discovered two great sunblocks for wet or dry skin!

One of these sunblocks is from one of my favorite skin care brands, Aveeno. Did you know that there is an Aveeno Hydrosport suncare line? I didn’t know that until recently. It comes in either a handy spray or lotion. I received the spray to try and it’s the one pictured above. I love that it’s SPF 85 since I’m so pale. It’s also non-greasy! It has a nice light (not the usual sunblock) scent when you first apply it, which is great for a change. It provides protection for up to 80 minutes of activity in the water or sweating! I think that’s a pretty good amount of time. I mean if you go swimming, then the lifeguards will take a break pretty often and you have time to apply it anyways. Now, you can reapply on your wet skin.

Neutrogena Wet Skin Sunblock Spray 300x300 Wet Skin Sunblocks

The other nice sunblock I recently tried is from another one of my favorite brands – Neutrogena! I received the Neutrogena Wet Skin Sunblock Spray! This sunblock just came out this year. It’s spf 85+! It comes in a nice continuous spray form, which is perfect for reaching all spots. Additionally, it contains the Helioplex broad spectrum protection. It has a relatively typical sunblock smell to it.

I really like both of these sunblocks. I think the Aveeno is more for going out with friends, a special outdoor event, or everyday wear just because of its scent and benefits. I’m going to use the Neutrogena for the pool or outdoor activities. Granted, both could be used for either instance, but I think that’s how I’m going to use them.

New Aveeno Positively Nourishing Body Products Review

header contact us New Aveeno Positively Nourishing Body Products Review Thanks to my Lucky Alpha Shopper status, I received some wonderful new products from Aveeno!  I got the Positively Nourishing Hydrating Body Wash and the Positively Nourishing 24-hour Ultra Hydrating Whipped Souffle!  Both products are of that high quality we have all come to expect from Aveeno with their ultra-moisturizing properties.  hydrating shea New Aveeno Positively Nourishing Body Products ReviewAs part of the Active Naturals of Aveeno, both products contain oats, soy, shiitake, and feverfew!  These new products provide 24 hour moisturizing benefits while being refreshing and calming. 

The Body Wash is creamy and goes on nicely.  It smells really nice and creates a whole shower experience that is truly relaxing and wonderful!  It’s nice to take a couple of minutes from my day, apply it and smell it.  It has a calming effect that is great for a night shower!  It has shea butter and fig in it which makes my skin feel really nice and hydrated.  It leaves my skin feeling better and smoother.  

The Souffle is like a lotion, but better.  You apply it as you would a normal body moisturizer, but it works better.  You notice the difference in this souffle when you first touch it.  It’s thicker, yet creamier than a regular lotion.  It also comes in a container, not a pump bottle.  This souffle is packed with natural shea and cocoa butters to give skin a pick me up that is ultra moisturizing!  It also has antioxidants that makes skin look younger!  The souffle makes skin soft and smooth, not greasy like many lotions or other products like this.  It doesn’t feel oily either.  I like how the scent is nice and not over-powering.  It smells natural and beautiful.  It would be nice before bed to get you relaxed.  whipped soufle New Aveeno Positively Nourishing Body Products Review

Both products have made my skin nice and soft.  I really like them.  Then again, it’s Aveeno.  I mean I’ve never tried an Aveeno product that I didn’t like.  I use Aveeno regularly on my legs because of it’s moisturizing benefits.  Thanks Aveeno and Lucky!
