It looks like I’m going to be a substitute teacher for the second year in a row. That means I will still need some typical office supplies to be successful in the classroom. That’s why I was so happy to receive some free BIC writing utensils again, just in time for back to school season.
BIC Writing Utensils
Two years ago, I did a school supplies post with BIC and it was a big success. So, I was already a huge fan of BIC writing utensils before I ever received this generous package of goodies. Having used their products for years now, I can attest to their high quality of ink and pretty designs. However, it never hurts to stock up or to see new designs.
Take a look at all of the fabulousness they sent me in the picture above (and one of you can win your own package). One of the more exciting items I received was the BIC Tech 2-in-1 Stylus and Pen. I actually had one of these from a different brand, but the stylus part came off several months ago. So, I was in need of a new stylus. I was pleased to receive this one as it looks nicer than the other one I had. Plus, I prefer the ink from BIC anyways. I was also happy to receive some much needed automatic mechanical pencils. It seems like students are always running off with my pencils (even though I stick labels that say my name on them). So, I can never have too many pencils. Plus, I love that there is a turn-down eraser on these that looks sleek. Not to mention, their incredible gripper.
In the post that I did with BIC two years ago, I was introduced to the BIC for Her line. I actually ended up grabbing one of those on my way to student teaching at the middle school one day without applying a label on it. Wouldn’t you know that that awesome pen mysteriously went missing that day? I have my suspicions that a student stole it, but it’s just a pen and I didn’t actually see the student take it. Regardless, I missed that pen. Now, I have several more from that line and I’m happy again. Each one has a feminine design on the outside and it writes smoothly (just like all of the other BIC Writing Utensils).
This package also contained two new to me BIC writing utensils. The first is the BIC Z4+ Roller pen. I actually received both the four-pack of traditional colors and the neon five-pack. The Z4+ pen features a .7mm fine point, so it’s great for getting all of the details right. Plus, with two packages of colors available, there’s one for each project. The other new item is sure to be a hit this back to school season. It’s the BIC Brite Liner Highlighter Tape. It’s pretty neat because the fluorescent tape can be erased and it doesn’t create a big mess on papers (it doesn’t bleed through like markers can).
The last product is a cool twist on one of the classic BIC writing utensils. It’s the BIC Round Stic Grip in assorted colors. It’s that same fantastic pen we all love from BIC, but it’s now in a pretty pink, purple, green and blue. It’s great for students to write notes this school year or grading papers (as there’s not a mean red in the pack).
So, what do you think of my awesome BIC writing utensils?
