Have you ever tried the CVS Gold Emblem Abound brand of healthy snacks? Prior to this post, I had seen them at my local CVS (where I’m a frequent shopper). However, I hadn’t actually picked up any to try. Now, I’m sure I’ll have to get some to enjoy again!
Disclosure: I received free samples from CVS.
CVS Gold Emblem Abound
I have a habit of snacking whenever I get nervous/stressed or even bored. That can really take a toll on my diet and health. That’s one of the reasons I was so eager to try the CVS Gold Emblem Abound products as they would allow me to enjoy a tasty treat without feeling guilty about it afterwards. I was lucky enough to receive the selection of products pictured above.
The CVS Gold Emblem Abound line provides consumers with several products to enjoy while maintaining high standards. With no artificial preservatives or colors and 0g trans fat, these healthy snacks from CVS are a step-up from other brands’ snacks. Plus, they even have some products that are gluten and sodium free! That means CVS is giving people more options for eating when they are on a strict diet.
Of the items I received, I prefer the baked rice crisps and rice thins. The rice crisps are very similar to potato chips, however they aren’t greasy and they are definitely better for you! So, I can enjoy a handful of those barbeque flavored ones without giving it a second thought. The rice thins are more cracker like. So, the sea salt flavored ones are delightful little discs to be enjoyed with my lunch (I usually take some sort of cracker as a side item in my lunch).
After looking at the site and realizing all of the options available with the CVS Gold Emblem Abound brand, I’m looking forward to grabbing some other items to try in the future. Here’s a little money saving tip (from me, not the brand): I see that there is a special 30% off coupon printing out at CVS good for their brand of items. My ad shows one of these items pictured as a possible option to use the coupon on. So, if you are interested in trying some of these healthy snacks, this would be a great week to give it a try.
So, have you tried any of the CVS Gold Emblem Abound products yet? Which one was your favorite?
