Can you believe school is back in session and we are all but done with summer? That means we are in for some changing weather and temperatures. I hate those times during the year when the weather can’t decide which weather it wants to have. It makes it so hard to dress and regulate the thermostat. It can also be a pain to get to sleep if you are too hot (or cold). However, I received a free all seasons down comforter from DownLinens that is great for this time of the year.
All Season Down Comforter
I’ve always used a comforter on my bed. I love how soft most are… They make getting into bed even more comforting. There’s nothing like pulling up a nice and soft blanket over me when I lay down. Plus, I’m always amazed by the variety that they come in. However, nothing beats a great all season down comforter.
I recently received an all season down comforter from DownLinens (you may recall the tips for finding the best pillow post I did back in July that mentioned them). I was pretty excited to try this out as it’s lightweight and it’s supposed to be comfortable all year round. I was impressed with the softness of the blanket. It is also pretty light. I’m not sure I’d use it during the summer though. Then again, I stay warm.
One thing I didn’t like about this all season down comforter was the noise. Haha! I don’t know if it’s just me or not, but I found this blanket to be abnormally loud whenever it’s moved. It didn’t wake me up when I turned or anything. However, I felt like anyone in the house could hear whenever I moved. Plus, I’m not sure if a person sleeping with me would mind or not. Overall, I think it’s an ok comforter and I’ll be putting this up until it’s a bit cooler.
