Growing up, there were certain films that I loved to watch over and over with my cousin, KK. In that small category was every Home Alone film made. I own the 2nd one on VHS tape and she had the third one. We would watch the first one whenever it was on television. With the Christmas season quickly approaching, I’m having flashbacks of the times we spent together watching those films as they were especially good at Christmas. Needless to say, I was pretty pumped to learn that as a Fox Home Entertainment Insider, I would be receiving a free copy of Home Alone Holiday Heist on DVD and I get to giveaway a copy to a lucky reader!
Home Alone Holiday Heist
What makes the Home Alone series of movies different from other movies is their unique storylines. They all involve a young boy who has to deal with adult criminals. So, the boy is shown handling situations that most people in his life would not expect him to be able to handle. Plus, they all happen around Christmas time. That makes their happy endings that much more touching as we all want to see a family reunited and cheerful at the holidays at the end of the movie.
While I haven’t seen much on the Home Alone Holiday Heist title, the very brief synopsis I’ve read sounds just like the other movies in the franchise. It has the same type of premise with a new family. Check it out!
In the latest installment of the Home Alone franchise, Finn Baxter and his family move from California to Maine to their new house. Finn is terrified and believes the house is haunted. While he sets up traps to catch the “ghost”, his parents get stranded across town and Finn is home alone with his sister. Their house is targeted by 3 thieves.
Home Alone Holiday Heist is available on DVD on October 29th from Fox Home Entertainment. That means you have plenty of time to pick up a copy to enjoy this holiday season. So, are you looking forward to seeing another Home Alone movie?
