For the time being, I still live with my mom. I’m probably going to move closer to my school and either live by myself or with my boyfriend. However, right now I’m soaking up the last little bit of perks of living with my mom. One of the nice things about living with mom is that she has dinner ready for me when I come home. Something that’s going to make her life easier is the new Old El Paso frozen entrees that are perfect for two people. Disclosure: The information and prize packs have been provided by General Mills through MyBlogSpark. I received a free package.
Old El Paso Frozen Entrees
My mom is the queen of quick meals. She purchases lots of things that are very easy to make during the week. That’s because she gets up early to go to work (4 am) and then gets home around 3 or 4 pm. So, she doesn’t feel like standing in a hot kitchen cooking dinner. Plus, by 4 or so, we’re both pretty hungry. So, something quick to fix is a must. That’s why I was interested in the new Old El Paso Frozen Entrees. They come frozen and you just heat them up. They are something my mom can fix in a pinch.
The Old El Paso frozen entrees are not only quick to make, they come in a variety of flavors. There’s actually 8 different flavors of fajitas, enchiladas, quesadillas and burritos in this new line! Like always, I prefer the chicken variety. However, that still only narrows it down to 4 varieties. I think I prefer the fajitas or quesadillas. I love them both already. However, I’ve found that it’s harder to make a good quesadilla. I love that these new meals make it easier and quicker to enjoy a nice Mexican dinner.
Additionally, this is a great size for households of 2 people. There’s between 2 and 6 of any item in a box. That’s really all you need when there’s just 2 people. I know that it can be hard to find something quick to make that isn’t for feeding a whole family. So, it’s nice to have some Old El Paso frozen entrees on hand for a quick dinner. You can read more about them on the Old El Paso website and stay up-to-date with them by liking them on Facebook.
