You know how much I love using the Purex brand for all of our laundry needs, including fabric softener. I even did a Purex Crystals Review back in 2010. So, I’m very excited to bring you another wonderful review (and giveaway) from them featuring another awesome company.

As you know, Purex is great for doing laundry. However, did you know that liquid fabric softeners contain softening oils which prevent moisture wicking fabrics from wicking? I didn’t know that. That means that our athletic gear needs to be washed in the Purex Crystals to protect the material. That’s why it makes perfect sense for Purex to team up with Jockey. I actually received another scent of the Crystals which smell fabulous. They work just as well as the other scents.

I also received a lovely Jockey Tech Terry Performance Sports Bra. It features that cool moisture-wicking technology that keeps you cool and dry. This means it needs to be washed with the Crystals. I have been enjoying my new sports bra with all of the reviews I’m working on for my ongoing get healthy event. I will say that the bra seems to be sized small. I received an XL and it fits. However, I have heard of other bloggers complaining that their bra was too small. I do wish that the bra had an open/closure so it could be adjusted to fit perfectly as well as get rid of the sort of uni-boob look. However, I appreciated the bra’s ability to keep my body dry as well as the softness of the material. I also liked that the bra stayed in place throughout the workout. Overall, it’s a nice bra. Soon, there should be a 20% coupon for Jockey on the Purex site for a sports bra.

Early last year, I did a Purex Complete with Zout Giveaway. Since moving back home, I have been trying even harder to get products to help around the house. One of those things is laundry detergent. My mom does the laundry in our household. However, I try to help out by making sure she has a good stock of laundry supplies on hand. She seems to enjoy getting to try these new products. So, when I saw the opportunity to review the new laundry detergent from Purex, I signed up.

The new Purex Triple Action laundry detergent is Purex’s way of making their detergents better while keeping prices down. All of their detergents will soon feature this new Triple Action component. They consist of new ingredients which help clothing get even cleaner and brighter in addition to some of the old ingredients. So, it’s really a new and better way of cleaning from Purex.

I received a sample of this new detergent to try. So, I gave the bottle to my mother to incorporate into our regular laundry. She seems pretty pleased with the results. I will say that our clothing does seem to be cleaner after just one wash. So, that means less work and less waste as far as laundry is concerned. I believe that overall we are happy with this new formula from Purex.

As you already know, I’m a VIP Purex Insider and I’m a big fan of Purex. Well, I was happy to work with Purex again. This time, I got to try the new Purex Complete with Zout. This product combines the awesome-ness of Purex detergent with Zout pre-treater.

Purex with Zout makes it easier to get clothes clean. Since it already has the pre-treater in it, you can save time by not having to use one separately. Plus, it works in all types of machines. Additionally, I tried a lovely scent of Fresh Morning Burst. It left our clothing smelling nice and fresh. So, the clothes looked clean and smelled clean. They also carry a Free & Clear which is unscented for those who need/prefer it. However, I really enjoyed our scented one.
